Over the course of a year, Lizzy has transformed her body into peak condition by making just three straightforward adjustments to her routine. The fitness expert, who already looked fabulous at the start of her journey, aimed for a more sculpted physique.

In an Instagram post, she emphasised the importance of balance over perfection and direction over speed. She also highlighted how small steps in the right direction can lead to big results. Lizzy’s transformation over 12 months is testament to this philosophy.

She wants people to understand that achieving such results doesn’t require deprivation, but rather, smart and sustainable changes, reports the Express. In her candid post, Lizzy confessed: “I could sit here and tell you that I’ve eaten balanced everyday, how I’ve done all my workouts and how reaching my goals has been all sunshine and rainbows, but I would straight up lying.

“Don’t get me wrong, I’ve followed my plans and stayed consistent where I can but 2024 in all honesty has probably been one of the most stressful years of my life.”

She continued: “There have been days where it feels hard to get out bed. Days where I’ve eaten way too many biscuits or sugar due to stress, and days where I have barely slept leading to poor recovery. I’m not saying this for sympathy. But, to tell you that I get it. I have s**t days too. Reaching your goals is freaking hard sometimes, but the only reason I’ve still managed to see progress is because I have never given up.”

She concluded with a motivational message: “I see everyday as a new opportunity and keep on pushing no matter what. So if you’ve had a bad day, or a bad week or even a bad month. Don’t let that stop you from getting to where you want to be. Your future self would be so proud of you for never giving up.”

Since sharing her inspiring journey, the post has garnered over 1,000 likes and a flood of supportive comments. One follower admitted it was advice they “needed” to hear, while another gushed: “This is the transformation I want for 2025. You look bloody gorgeous Lizzy.”
