Tammy Slaton is celebrating her most recent accomplishment in shedding weight.

The performer from 1000-Lb. Sisters just revealed that she has dropped a total of 500 pounds since embarking on her journey.

In a TikTok recording from August 17th, set to the uplifting melody “Rise Up” by Andra Day, Tammy shows up alongside six other “weight loss champions.” While they enter the frame, words on the screen exhibit how much weight each individual has shed. The recording highlights how these companions collectively lost a total of 2,078 pounds, backing each other and clasping hands during their transformation.

“Truly absolutely incredible ladies, and I’m delighted to call y’all all my companions,” the 38-year-old penned beside the clip. “I’m so pleased of each and every one of y’all. Not only are you beautiful on the inside, but you’re stunning on the outside. Never forget.”

Tammy, who acts alongside her sibling Amy Slaton Halterman in the TLC program 1000-Lb. Sisters, has revealed her health difficulties since the show premiered in January 2020. After undergoing bariatric surgery in July 2022 and spending time in a weight loss recovery facility for 14 months, Tammy continues to share her weight loss journey on social media and television. By December 2023, she had shed a total of forty-eight pounds.

She talks about her weight loss journey and explains how it has also improved her mental well-being.

1. She disclosed in a TikTok video from February, “Prior to attending rehab, I felt very angry, sorrowful, and was grappling with thoughts of taking my own life. But since then, I’ve observed numerous changes in myself. I treat my family and others better, and my general outlook has enhanced. I find myself grinning a lot more these days.”

With all this progress, the reality luminary also recognized some other achievements.

“I indeed participated in rides [at Disney World.] And I took a ride in a hot air balloon,” Tammy added. “I now value life, whereas previously I detested it. I loathed everything about life.”

A couple of months later, in April, she shared an image of herself at the swimming pool with her companion, psychic medium Haley Michelle. Her readiness to share her narrative has genuinely motivated her enthusiasts. One supporter even remarked, “Wow! The transformation is astonishing! I’m thrilled to witness how much you’ve developed. I might have shed a tear or two.”
