Michelle Keegan, 37, has debuted a bold hair makeover for a fun new winter look.
The former Coronation Street star shared a snap of her transformation on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday. Michelle was still in the salon for the snap, and showed off her hair freshly cut and styled.
She looked ready to get back out into the cold, wrapped up warm in chic trousers, a beige cardigan, and a trendy brown leather coat with a luxurious sherpa lining. Finishing her look, Michelle accessorised with a camel bag and gold jewellery, and showed off her Rhode by Hailey Bieber phone case.
The star of the show, however, was Michelle and her fresh new look. In contrast to her usual warm, chocolatey brunette, the Our Girl star opted for a colder, darker hue of brown perfect for the changing weather. She’d also opted in for a trim, with her locks a couple of inches shorter than before. Most dramatically, Michelle revealed a feathery fringe, with short layers framing her face and covering her eyes.
“Winter bangs,” she captioned the update, adding a hair cut emoji. She also tagged her stylist, Calum Tierney, and her upscale salon, Terence Paul Hairdressing in Manchester.
Michelle’s latest makeover came amid rumours that her appearance has changed more than is natural since her soap days. NHS midwife and aesthetics practitioner Beth Drew addressed the speculation on Instagram back in September, and judged that Michelle was using some subtle tweaks to emphasise her natural beauty.
“Michelle Keegan is a fantastic example of aesthetics treatments done right. Most people look at Michelle Keegan and think, ‘Wow she is naturally so beautiful’, and absolutely she is. But there’s not really too much that’s natural about it. However, it does look natural because it’s been done really well,” she said.
The medical professional explained: “In my professional opinion, I think she has had Botox – especially around the forehead and the eye – just to open them up a little bit. You can see that in the before photos, her eyes were slightly hooded and in the after photos they are not.
“So Botox can really lift the eyebrows and smooth out any fine line and wrinkles. I think she may have had a nose job or a non-surgical rhinoplasty using dermal filler.”
Netflix star Michelle, however, previously stressed that her stunning looks are all natural. She laughed at rumours that her good looks have had a helping hand, and also said that she wouldn’t be gracing any fibs about surgery with a response.
“I like the fact people point out that they think I’ve had a nose job. They think I’ve had new cheeks, a new chin – but I haven’t and I don’t think I ever would, if I’m being honest. I’m scared it would go wrong!” she said back in 2018.
“People always say, ‘Have you or haven’t you?’ But it’s my business. It’s my face. So what if I have or haven’t? I don’t read it when people speculate about it.”
