Katie Price and Kerry Katona have hinted that fans should expect a major music release.
The best friends are currently working on a panto of Cinderella in Northwich for Christmas, and both took to Instagram to share the success of ticket sales so far. Both Katie and Kerry posted a photo of a news article about the performance, in which they play the wicked step-sisters.
Alongside the shot, Katie, 46, wrote: “25 years of friendship and our first show together after the jungle and me and [Kerry] have smashed box office sales… wait for our new single, alongside a starry eyes emoji. Kerry, 44, shared a very similar message, writing about her long friendship with Katie and also hinting at a musical collaboration. “25 years of friendship and we’ve smashed it!! Watch this space… single on its way,” she wrote.
Katie and Kerry have frequently shown off their closeness after Kerry broke up with her fiancé, Ryan Mahoney. Kerry recently spoke about her new living situation after rumours emerged that Katie had moved in with her after Ryan got the boot.
“I’ve started panto rehearsals now for our performance of Cinderella at Northwich Memorial Court, which have been going really well. Katie Price is in it with me and she’s been doing so well, it’s nice to have her around,” began Kerry. She also clarief: “I did see reports that she had moved in with me – which definitely isn’t true. She will be coming for lots of sleepovers while she’s here though, which will be nice.”
Kerry cited a “breach of trust” for her separation from Ryan after six years together. She admitted it was tough getting used to juggling family life and work without help of a partner. “I’m flat out with work at the moment and it’s difficult balancing that and the kids. I’m adjusting to being a single mum again and it’s not easy, I have to split myself into lots of different pieces.
Announcing her split last month, Kerry confirmed that fitness trainer Ryan had moved out of their family home in an emotional blog post: “Last week I spoke about how Ryan and I were having a tough time and now he has moved out of the house. We are no longer together and It’s been a really tough week – I never in a million years thought this would happen. Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us.
“I don’t know if we’ll be able to work it out or not, but I do still love him so much. I feel like everything has heaped on recently and it’s so much to deal with, I am really struggling. But I know I can get through it no matter what happens, I’ve been through break-ups before and come out the other side, so we just need to see what happens.”
