The “Aquaman” star treated his son and daughter to their first Metallica concert, sharing moments from the unforgettable experience.

Jason Momoa’s latest family photos had admirers marveling at how much his kids, Nakoa-Wolf and Lola, have grown. Many fans also noted the striking resemblance between him and his 16-year-old son.

In an Instagram post, Jason gave fans a glimpse into his memorable family outing by sharing photos from his kids’ first Metallica concert. The actor’s heartfelt post showcased the tight-knit bond he shares with Nakoa-Wolf, 16, and Lola, 17.

The movie star expressed his joy in his caption, “I LOVE U @metallica SO HONORED TO BE INTRODUCING THEM AT @allwithinmyhandsfoundation. Amazing foundation, please check it out. My babies’ first Metallica show. Happiest papa in the world. Chhhhhhheeeeehuuuuuuuuu. Aloha j.”

The post featured a series of candid and cheerful snapshots taken on December 13, 2024, at Metallica’s “All Within My Hands Helping Hands” concert” at the YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles. In one, Jason posed with Lola and a Metallica band member, radiating pride as a father.

Another photo captured a playful moment with Nakoa-Wolf striking goofy poses while Jason held Lola close, both smiling at the camera. More pictures revealed the family soaking in the concert vibes, laughing, grinning ear to ear, and mingling with the band members. Wide smiles and good vibes radiated through every shot, encapsulating the epic evening.

Jason Momoa’s Instagram post left fans gushing over their incredible night and how lovely the actor looked alongside his son and daughter. One fan enthused, “Beautiful kids!!! Son looks just like you wow 🤩 congrats proud daddy,” while another reminisced, “Wow, your son looks like u when u were on Baywatch.”

Many also shared their admiration for Lola. “Omg. Daughter is Dad’s twin, son is mom’s. So cute ❤️ [sic],” one fan remarked, while another observed, “Kids grow up so fast!! Lola taking after daddy with her height! Love to you Jason and to your family! ❤️ [sic].”

“Lola is such a beautiful young woman. She looks just like her mom,” one comment read, followed by a playful warning for Nakoa-Wolf, “Wolf, you’re gonna be running from the girls in no time, if you’re not already, spitting image of Dad. BOO, the family looks amazing.”

Fans couldn’t help but marvel at how much the kids had changed, writing “Wow, have they grown! Lola is Daddy’s girl, no doubt! 🤘” and “Your children are so grown up. Your daughter is almost as tall as you. They are as beautiful as you are. Much love,” shared one more admirer.

At the concert, Jason went on stage to introduce the band, his charismatic and fun side shining through. He shared how Metallica’s music helped him through his darkest times, giving him an outlet for anger and frustration and serving as a guiding light in his life.

He also gave a shoutout to his kids. “There’s a saying, ‘You should never meet your heroes; they will ultimately let you down,’ but not in this case, because tonight… my children get to see me living out my dream standing next to my heroes.”

Jason added, “And my kids get to witness how Metallica has inspired all of us not just in the power of music but in the good that they bring to this world with ‘All Within My Hands.'”

Jason adores his kids and has always been intentional about parenting, drawing from his own experiences of growing up without a father at home. This has deeply shaped how he approaches raising Nakoa-Wolf, ensuring that his presence, guidance, and connection remain constant and meaningful.

“I didn’t know what it takes to be a dad. And I don’t want to just tell my son, ‘Because I said so.’ I really want to connect, and I want him to be vulnerable and open,” the actor explained.

The “Sweet Girl” star wears his love for his children, close to his heart—literally. He has their first names tattooed over his chest, inscribed in their own childhood handwriting, lifted from the sheets of paper where they first scribbled their names, a permanent reminder of their bond.

In March 2024, Jason shared how deeply fulfilled he feels, attributing his happiness to the health and success of his family. “I’m living all the dreams I’ve ever wanted to do. Being a father, kids are healthy and strong and doing well in school, and just beautiful. And so I’m in this place of just having gratitude,” he expressed.

In a previous interview, when Jason was asked how his real-life experience as a father influences his acting, he admitted that, while he tries to keep his roles separate from his family life, some of his true feelings inevitably come through.

“It’s impossible to fully capture what it’s like to be a parent without tapping into that deep love and willingness to do anything for your children,” he shared.

Aside from his career, Jason has poured himself into building memories and teaching life skills through his passions. Inspired by his mother, he developed a love for skateboarding and rock climbing, experiences that instilled in him a sense of freedom and bravery. Now, he’s passing that legacy on to his children.

“If I teach them to skate, they can be bold and brave in any terrain,” he said. “And if I teach them to climb, they can push themselves and gracefully move through fear. Every time my children play, they can feel their papa is always with them.”

Despite his rising fame, the Hollywood star maintained that he kept life normal with his kids. “[…] We go camping, play music, go rock climbing […]. When I’m with my babies, I just try to be dad,” he said,

In November 2022, the “Justice League” star attended the premiere of his film “Slumberland” and walked the red carpet with his two kids. “My babies and my family are the most important thing,” the doting father stated.
