On Tuesday, April 8, beloved children’s YouTuber Ms. Rachel shared a surprise announcement with her fans.

Ms. Rachel, real name Rachel Griffin Accurso, revealed via Instagram on Tuesday, April 8, that she is now a mom of two.

The announcement received support from hundreds of thousands of people, including some high profiles names like Kylie Kelce, Mandy Moore and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Alongside a photo of herself snuggling with her baby girl, Ms. Rachel wrote that she, her husband, Aron Accurso, and their 7-year-old son, Thomas, “are so in love” with their tiny bundle of joy.

“We welcomed sweet baby Susannah into the world! 💕 We are so in love!” she shared.

“Sometimes timing isn’t what you plan and the road to get there is bumpier than you expect, but when you hold your little ones you know … I’m meant to be your mama.”

As the 42-year-old former teacher continued, she revealed that she “was unable to carry this pregnancy for medical reasons and we were blessed to have a surrogate who gave us the most precious gift possible.”

“We are now all family forever,” she continued. “We have immense gratitude and a deep bond. It’s been a truly beautiful experience. I’m in awe of her.”

In the first photo of Susannah, the tiny tot is seen sporting a full head of hair while waring a cozy onesie covered in tiny red hearts as she sleeps in her mom’s arms.

This birth announcement comes seven months after she shared that she experienced a miscarriage in September.

The 42-year-old shared a video of herself playing the piano singing a song that says, “Rainbow baby, dream come true. Rainbow baby, if you knew. Every prayer we said for you. Rainbow baby dream come true.”

In the caption, Ms. Rachel wrote, “My rainbow baby is not a baby anymore but he’ll always be my rainbow baby 💗 So much love to anyone who understands ❤️.”

Over the last several weeks families who welcome Ms. Rachel into their homes daily via her popular YouTube videos for children grew concerned for her following an unexplained hiatus.

On March 19, she briefly explained the reason behind her absence from her YouTube channel in a response to a comment on one of her Instagram posts.

After a follower commented on the post, writing, “When are we getting more episodes? I feel like since you’ve signed with Netflix we don’t really get good content anymore …”

Ms. Rachel responded saying, “I’m sorry. We’ve had some family things to attend to. Nothing to do with Netflix, as that is content from YouTube.”

In response to another fan, she wrote, “I will make a little video tomorrow to help ❤️.”

The last YouTube video shared by Ms. Rachel was posted two months ago featuring a collaboration with Elmo. However, she has maintained her presence on Instagram.

On April 4, she shared a video in support of parents singing “raising tiny humans is very hard … you’re doing a great job.”
