A Super Bowl LIX commentator delivered a brutal one-liner at Travis Kelce as cameras focused on his girlfriend Taylor Swift.
As previously reported, the Philadelphia Eagles put on a dominant display in Super Bowl LIX, securing a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts led the charge with 221 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 72 rushing yards – which earned him Super Bowl MVP honors.
Meanwhile, the Eagles’ defense overwhelmed Patrick Mahomes, racking up six sacks and forcing two interceptions, including a pick-six by rookie Cooper DeJean.
The night’s biggest viral moments weren’t just about the action on the field.
During the broadcast, Fox cut to the 35-year-old ‘Love Story’ songstress who was in attendance to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
With Kansas City trailing 17-0 just before halftime, a commentator didn’t hold back, remarking: “Well, Taylor Swift is in attendance… but she hasn’t had much to cheer about yet because Travis Kelce hasn’t caught a ball.”

ked a flurry of reactions on social media. “I’m sorry but I burst out laughing when this happened,” one fan wrote, while another quipped: “This commentator is PETTY!!”
Another added: “These announcers are so messy”.
At the time of the commentator’s ruthless dig, the 35-year-old had yet to record a single catch, and the Chiefs were completely outmatched by the Eagles team.
However, Kelce did eventually manage to get on the board as he finished the game with just four catches for 39 yards.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes put up 257 passing yards and three touchdowns, but it was his two costly turnovers that directly led to Eagles scores and put the Chiefs in an impossible position.
By the time the Chiefs finally found the end zone it was a little too late as the Eagles maintained control throughout the game.
They ended up stealing a commanding 40-22 victory and Jalen Hurts was rightfully crowned Super Bowl MVP.
All eyes have now shifted to Kelce’s future as the tight end has been the subject of retirement rumors.
Mahomes spoke on behalf of his teammates, acknowledging that while the decision is ultimately Kelce’s to make, he believes the star tight end isn’t done yet as he “still has a lot of football left in him,” according to Bleacher Report.
“I’ll let Travis make that decision on his own, man,” he told reporters. “He’s given so much to this team and to the NFL and been such a joy, not only for me to work with but for people to watch. He knows he still has a lot of football left in him. You can see it. He always makes plays in the biggest moments.”
“But it’s if he wants to put in that grind, to go out there and play 20 games to get to the Super Bowl. He’s done enough to be a gold jacket guy and a first-ballot Hall of Famer. I know he still has a love for the game. He’ll get to spend some time with his family and make that decision on his own,” he added.
