We often come across singers who lead extravagant lifestyles, flaunting their wealth with lavish purchases like cars, gourmet meals, vacations, and just about anything else you can think of.
However, Michael Bublé stands out from this trend. Despite being a major figure in the music industry, he maintains a grounded approach to his life, particularly when it comes to his family.
Bublé has received numerous music awards and boasts several multiplatinum albums. He even has a stake in the Vancouver Giants hockey team, suggesting he has a comfortable financial situation. Yet, he prefers to keep his spending in check.
He remarked, “I don’t have a fancy life. I don’t have a fancy car. I don’t have fancy stuff. I will never [have] a jet.”
This doesn’t mean he avoids spending altogether. He has invested significantly in his home, which was valued at $25,529,000 as of January.
One of his favorite features is a hockey rink in his backyard, which makes perfect sense given his involvement with a hockey team.
Bublé’s reasons for purchasing the house are refreshingly honest: “I wanted this house and the real reason, and I’m telling you the truth… I want to be able to get wasted with my buddies.”
The aim was to create a space where friends could gather and enjoy some carefree fun, like hitting a golf ball without a care in the world.
Bublé takes pleasure in his expansive 27,625 square-foot mansion, which offers plenty of entertainment options. It features a mini soccer field, a backyard putting green, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and much more hidden away.
One of the standout features is a full-sized hockey rink located in the basement, which is quite impressive.
Despite his wealth, he strives to maintain a down-to-earth lifestyle. Instead of splurging on luxury cars, he opts for a Lexus and a minivan.
He chose to stay in Canada rather than relocating to New York City or Los Angeles, stating, “I live in the same place. The house I built is in the exact neighborhood where I grew up.”
His children attend the same elementary school he did as a child. While some parents may be starstruck upon seeing him, he admits he doesn’t let it bother him.
He explained, “For me, being normal is important. It’s not about being a good person or humble; it’s my way of shielding myself from how overwhelming this life can be.”
