“Sunday kind of love,” the proud mom sweetly captioned the photos
On Sunday, April 27, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared some intimate new photos of her kids, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, whom she shares with husband Prince Harry. The two children inherited their father’s red hair, as the snaps showed their fiery locks shining in the sun.
“Sunday kind of love…with my little loves,” Meghan sweetly captioned her Instagram post.
She included three images in the carousel, the first of which showed her smiling as she caressed a large pink flower with Lilibet at her side. The camera captured the back of the little girl’s head, highlighting her long red hair.
The post also included a snapshot of Archie from behind as he inspected some pink flowers, and another photo of the 5-year-old holding a bloom in front of his face.
Meghan recently gave fans a glimpse into her personal life with the release of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, in which she serves up cooking, gardening and hosting tips. However, it is rare for her to share photos of her kids.
Back in March, she featured a never-before-seen photo of Lilibet within an Instagram carousel to commemorate International Women’s Day. The snap showed her daughter on a boat, facing away from the camera while cradled in the arms of her dad.
“Happy International Women’s Day!” Meghan captioned the post. “Celebrating the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day.”
Meghan opened up about motherhood in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE timed to the release of her Netflix series.
“Five years ago, Archie was only 8 or 9 months old, so my life has changed so much,” she said. “Anyone who has children will tell you, it’s a huge evolution as a woman during that time.”
Thinking ahead to the next five or 10 years, the mom-of-two mused, “Can you imagine? This is just the beginning. Life is full of surprises. And my gosh, in 10 years, Archie will be driving!”
Just days ago, on April 23, Meghan spoke at the TIME100 Summit in New York City and revealed that she was excited to get home to California as Archie was about to lose his first tooth.
Speaking about balancing motherhood with work, Meghan said responsibilities surrounding her business were just as important as things like her son’s loose tooth, adding that Archie was going to lose it “this week.”
“[It’s] about to happen, and I just hope I’m back home in time for it!” she told the audience.
