The 32-year-old grandson of John F. Kennedy has a history of trolling his followers
Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F. Kennedy, jokingly announced that he’s “having a son” in a post on social media on April 6
The 34-year-old then shared a fake image of himself being held by J.D. Vance’s wife, Usha Vance
The liberal activist is known to use unconventional methods to try to “break through” in the current news and media climate
Jack Schlossberg is once again trolling his followers, this time with a post announcing that he is having a baby with J.D. Vance’s wife Usha Vance.
In a post on X on Sunday, April 6, the 32-year-old grandson of John F. Kennedy, who has spoken about his unconventional, often tongue-in-cheek approach to social media, wrote that he’s “having a son” and is “so excited.”
He went on to add that while he’s having the child “out of wedlock,” he and the mother “might get married.”
I’m having a son !! So excited about this.
Cannot wait for the birth of my next child because today was the best day of my life.
Out of wedlock , yes. But we might get married.

Not long after, Schlossberg posted an image of his face added to a photo of Usha holding a child on Instagram.
“Little Jason and his mom — You never feel like you’re ready to be a parent. Until one day, you become one,” he wrote in the post’s caption.
A representative for Schlossberg did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on April 6.

Schlossberg has been known to play with the boundaries between fact and fiction in the past, admitting that he often posts outlandish things in order to make a point about the current state of news and media.
“I think that the internet is a place where it’s difficult to break through, and it’s difficult to break through especially if you’re not saying something that’s controversial, or at least, somehow unexpected,” the liberal activist previously said on MSNBC’s podcast The Blueprint with Jen Psaki. “And I think that I see that Democrats play that game not as well as we could.”
He added, “And I think that’s kind of the game that the other side’s been playing really well, which is flipping people out — and getting a reaction is almost half the battle.”
In the same conversation, Schlossberg admitted to previously lying to his followers about a major breakup in a series of social media posts — but said he didn’t expect so many people to take him seriously.
“I couldn’t stop laughing when I recorded that video. I thought it was one of the funniest things I’ve ever done, because I would never, I would never,” he said. “If I was actually going through a breakup, I don’t think I would want anyone to know how sad I was.”
“I love my country, I love politics. I really care what happens,” Schlossberg later said, adding that he thinks it’s time for Democrats to find “different strategies to break through.”
