Who could he be referring to?
A lip reader has claimed that JD Vance appeared to issue a chilling threat just moments before President Donald Trump kicked off his congress speech.
Earlier this week, Donald Trump gave a 90-minute bumper address to the Congress to outline his vision for making America ‘great again’, which including lambasting former leader Joe Biden over the price of eggs, stating a claim over the nation of Greenland and reading aloud a letter sent to him by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The address on the tail end of a pretty explosive time in global politics, which saw Trump and Zelenskyy engaged in a bust-up in the White House’s Oval Office, before America promptly paused military aid and intelligence with Ukraine.
What a week it’s been.
Given all the shenanigans going down in Washington D.C. it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that Trump and his Vice President JD Vance are currently under the microscope.
Vance remained relatively quiet for the majority of Trump’s speech, occasionally clapping along as the president listed off his achievements. However the Republican was able to get a few words in to House Speaker Mike Johnson at the start of the speech.
And it would appear they were pretty ominous.
Following numerous clips of him smirking while chatting to Johnson doing to rounds on the internet, lip reader Jeremy Freeman gave his verdict on what the vice president could’ve been saying.

Revealing his analysis to The Mirror, Freeman said that Vance was promising a ‘full reckoning’ to enemies of the controversial president.
“Yes it is, a full reckoning, and long overdue,” Freeman claims Vance said in the meeting, before allegedly joking about the length of the president’s speech: “By the way, I think the speech is going to be great. But I don’t know how you do this for 90 minutes.”
Johnson’s response was then picked up by a nearby hot mic, where he could be heard replying: “The hardest thing was doing it during Biden, when his speech was a stupid campaign speech.”
Cautious of eavesdroppers, the house speaker then moved the mic away before continuing their conversation in private.
Although it’s not clear who Vance was referring to in particular with his alleged ‘full reckoning’ but if the last week is anything to go by, we’re in for a bumpy four years in the world of US politics.
Vance in particular is currently feeling the brunt of media attention, with the 40-year-old offending the UK and France by seemingly referring to them as ‘random countries’
He would later attempt to clarify his controversial comments on X, claiming that reports regarding his interview were ‘absurdly dishonest’, but didn’t offer any clarification on who he could’ve been referring to.
